Tax Director directs and oversees an organization's tax policies and objectives. Monitors reporting and planning to ensure compliance with applicable tax statutes. Being a Tax Director ensures accuracy of tax returns and works to minimize the organization's tax obligations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Tax Director typically reports to top management. The Tax Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Tax Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Our CPA firm is currently seeking an Experienced Bookkeeper to join our team!
Full time: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience
- QuickBooks Online and Desktop experience REQUIRED
- Experience in bookkeeping a MUST, qualified applicants will be tested
- Know how to use and maneuver around a computer, working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic clerical and administrative skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with professional and courteous phone etiquette.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile Bank Accounts on monthly and quarterly basis
- Ability to handle many bookkeeping clients
- Strong organizational skills and time management with respect to deadlines.
- Schedule client appointments
- Exercise excellent customer service while interacting with clients both over the phone and in person.
- Complete all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.'
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
