The Director of Tax is responsible for leading the tax department. The department provides tax compliance, planning, and consulting services to a variety of clients, including individuals, businesses, and tribes. The Director of Tax will be responsible for developing and implementing the department's strategic plan, managing the department's staff, and ensuring that the department meets the needs of its clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the department's strategic plan
• Manage the department's staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees
• Ensure that the department meets the needs of its clients by providing high-quality tax services
• Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations
• Represent the department to clients, other departments, and government agencies
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• CPA license
• 10 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
• Experience in a variety of tax areas, including individual, business, and tribal taxation
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to professional ethics

Compensation:

• Base salary of $220,000- $250,0000
• Bonus based on performance
