Supervises the completion of accurate tax returns in order to minimize the tax obligations of an organization. Being a Tax Supervisor must be familiar with regulations at the federal, state and local level. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Tax Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Tax Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Tax Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns

Requirements:
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform complex calculations
- Knowledge of corporate accounting principles and financial concepts
- Previous experience in public accounting or related field preferred
- Proficient in using 10-key typing for data entry
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns
- Familiarity with technical accounting procedures and best practices
