Tax Supervisor is responsible for supervising the tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance function. Supervises the completion of accurate tax returns in order to minimize the tax obligations of an organization. Being a Tax Supervisor must be familiar with regulations at the federal, state and local level. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Tax Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Tax Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Tax Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. • Build your own schedule with flexible hours anytime between 8am EST and 10pm EST Monday to Sunday³
• You'll be assigned an SME (Subject Matter Expert) who will support you during live calls. Plus Support an (MPS) Marketplace Performance Specialist as your advocate.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
To be successful in this Gig as a Service Provider for TurboTax you will need to be proficient in the following:
• This role doesn't require any specific accounting background. We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and help TurboTax customers with their questions.
• Strong communication is key in assisting customers with TurboTax products and tax return software. You'll need to articulate solutions clearly and empathetically.
• The ability to understand and empathize with our customers needs while driving innovation and providing top-notch service.
¹To receive the $300.00 paid training bonus, if the following criteria are met: Must complete all 5 days of training, graduate, and complete 10 calls.
²Starting Pay $18.00 gross per hour. You must work a minimum of 20 hours per week or 40 hours per cycle from Monday to Sunday, between 8AM and 10PM EST. Fees apply ($2.00 per hour Marketplace Licensing Fee and $1.00 LiveXchange Service Fee)..
