This is a new business subsidiary of a successful and well-respected boutique estate planning law firm, offering an exciting ground floor opportunity with a possible partnership/ownership stake. We are expanding into tax planning, and we need an experienced CPA to begin offering various financial services to our clients. Experience level does not need to be signficant, but a strong educational background and experience working as part of a team in a professional office work environment is required.

DUTIES

• Tax Preparation, tax planning, asset protection planning for individuals and small business owners of all net worth levels.
• Prepare and analyze client's personal and business financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting to help clients make informed business and personal finance and retirement decisions
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Provide guidance on tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses
• Offer financial advice and recommendations to clients based on their specific needs and goals

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required and must be in good standing with no disciplinary history
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficient in using accounting software Quickbooks and tax prep software
• Experience with accrual accounting and financial analysis
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, need to be able to work as part of a team in a professional office environment.
• Personable and friendly, focused, self-motivated, and dependable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
