Tax Supervisor is responsible for supervising the tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance function. Supervises the completion of accurate tax returns in order to minimize the tax obligations of an organization. Being a Tax Supervisor must be familiar with regulations at the federal, state and local level. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Tax Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Tax Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Tax Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. About the Job
We are looking for state tax accounting professionals who have experience filing state income tax business returns.
Location is not important as Interns work remotely. However, due to increasingly tough labor and tax laws, we no longer hire in the states of Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, and Washington.
This position is not open to anyone outside the US. This position is not open to anyone outside the US. You must have good internet and a professional and quiet place to work.

We are passionate about state tax. Our mission is to educate and assist companies, CPAs, and other tax professionals to understand multi-state nuances, to successfully avoid or limit audit assessments.

Requirements :
- Candidates must have at least two years of recent experience filing state income tax returns.
- Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of state tax return preparation, filing, and payment experience.
- Experience with tax software is a major plus.
- Experience with other aspects of state tax is a major plus.
- We are a fast-paced high-volume firm.
- You must be able to work quickly and accurately.
- Experience with Payroll or sales tax is a major plus
Compensation includes a base salary of $40,000 - $50,000 with additional bonuses. There are advancement opportunities.
