Additionally, Tax Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Tax Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. TAX SENIOR/SUPERVISOR – NOVATO
Bregante Company LLP is currently actively recruiting for a Tax Senior/Supervisor based out of our Novato, California office.

Position Description
This position is for an experienced Senior/Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a wide variety of accounting and tax engagements. You will assume responsibility for complex projects and review moderately complex work prepared by others, providing review points. You will also supervise, train and mentor Staff and less experienced Senior Accountants. You will develop meaningful relationships with the Firm’s clients and participate in planning activities. You will actively work to execute the firm’s client retention strategies, ensuring that clients are highly satisfied, and identifying opportunities for expanding services.
This position offers opportunity for rapid growth and advancement to Manager and above.
Location
While we will consider candidates who are fully remote in the Pacific and Central time zones ONLY, we have a very strong preference for a local candidate who can work out of our Novato, CA office at least part of the time.
Compensation
This position has a base salary in the $95,000 - $115,000 range annually.
In addition, we offer two pools of potential additional compensation that can be earned for achieving annual charged hour goals (CHIP Program) and performance development goals (PMP Program). The CHIP program pool range is between $10,000 and $13,000 annually and the PMP Pool range is between $7,000 and $10,000.
These pools would be prorated the first year.
