Your Role:

Collaborate and communicate with teachers to support student learning in various classrooms.

Work with small groups of students as directed by teacher and project a positive demeanor while doing so.

Supervise outdoor recess time.

Facilitate after school care by offering a safe place for a small group of students to complete homework and play games until they are picked up at 5

Serve as a Christian role model for students and families.

Work effectively with all faculty and staff.

Maintain strict confidentiality of information with all of our parents, faculty, and staff.

What We're Looking For:

A heart for students

Experience working with elementary school students and a solid understanding of childhood development and educational best practices is preferable.

Basic computer skills to input attendance records daily.

Possession of organizational skills and classroom management techniques.

Willingness to learn and implement classical Christian pedagogy.

Ascribe to and agree with The Knight’s Christian Academy School’s Statement of Faith.

Hold oneself to a high standard of honesty and integrity.

Able to work effectively both in collaboration with other professionals and on own initiative.

Professional and approachable in appearance and attitude.

Reliable and dependable.

Position Details:

Type: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $16.00 - $18.01 per hour, depending on experience.

Benefits: Paid personal days, paid school holidays, and paid professional development days for the duration of the 10-month contract. Voluntary gap benefits are available.
