Teacher's Aide / Van Driver

We are hiring for a Van Driver / Children's Aide.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license and good 5-year driving record.
• Knowledge of community, i.e. streets / routes, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively- excellent Oral and Written Communication Skill

What you'll be doing

• Drive 14 passenger van to transport clients ages 3 to 5 to & from the Nova Academy
• Maintain cleanliness of van daily
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on van
• Adhere to the Citys Department of Transportation rules and regulations regarding transporting or driving a city vehicle.
• Report any vehicle issues immediately to the Facilities Manager
• Serve as Administrative support to Nova Academy Staff
• Administrative Support Duties to include recording daily attendance, assist with gathering / organizing needed classroom supplies, contacting Families at the direction of program manager and / or Therapist,
• Provides support to Academy staff and children enrolled in the Nova Academy
• Supportive Duties to include, providing oversight of child / children needing individualized attention, assist with classroom management, assist with providing information to Client families, assist with distribution of meals, assist with maintaining cleanliness of Program area
• Other administrative and support functions as requested or assigned by the Program Manager.
