Discovery Junction Child Development Center is a licensed childcare center seeking an energic Teacher Aide/Floater for our Preschool and School Age programs!

To be QUALIFIED for this position, all candidates must be 18 years of age, documented 2500 in childcare of unrelated children, and have the ability to pass all background checks.

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, Full Time Shift

Compensation: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour, based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process:

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed. This includes covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming the classroom duties of staff members before or after their scheduled shifts.
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.
• Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the director or the lead teacher.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
