  • The position is part-time, with 10 hours per week at an hourly rate of $20. It allows flexibility for full-time work during the day. The candidate should not have pets and must live alone. They will be provided with their own room and bathroom, with shared living space, and the rent is set at $100.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    The live-in House Assistant will provide support and guidance to individuals residing in a clean and sober living environment. Your primary role will be ensuring the smooth functioning of the house and maintaining a safe, organized, and comfortable living environment for clients.

    • Applicants for this position must be female to meet the specific needs of our clients.
    • Supervising clients' household tasks.
    • Organizing and leading house meetings.
    • Handle the acquisition of food supplies and the proper disposal of expired items
    • Offering alternative transportation for clients, as required, for appointments, court appearances,self-help meetings, etc.
    • Responsible for overseeing client chores within the clean and sober living environment.
    • Responsible for overseeing the upkeep of both the house and its surrounding grounds.
    • Conducting regular room checks is part of your duties. Room checks involve inspecting the living quarters of the residents to ensure cleanliness, compliance with house rules, and overall safety.
    • Be prepared to respond to crisis situations promptly and effectively, providing immediate assistance and access to appropriate resources when needed.
    • Collaborates with team members from various agencies, including case managers, justice alliance representatives, probation officers, and behavioral wellness professionals.
    • Conducts UA testing for clients as needed.
    • May be required to transport clients in a company vehicle to appointments.
    • Provides a weekly report CSL Program Manager sharing updates, progress, and important information related to the job responsibilities and activities.
    • Responsible for promptly notifying the manager of any work orders that need to be submitted or supplies that need to be ordered.
    • Responsible for attending staff meetings, ensuring timely completion of training, and accurately completing timecards.
    • Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
    • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

    For the live-in position paid staff. The above is in addition to the following: The employee will be compensated for 10 hours of paid time per week for the specific duties that are listed in this job description. In the event that the employee is needed for more than 10 hours of work per week, they will be compensated for their worked time. The additional work time hours need to be approved prior to working them. Minimal rent will also be required for the live-in position. The house assistant can leave the site at any time or for any reason and will need to notify their supervisor if leave will be longer than 24hrs.

    • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Google)

    Required Qualifications:

    Employment Eligibility Verification:

    • Must provide documentation to establish identity and employment eligibility in compliance with legal requirements. This may include a U.S. passport, Permanent Resident Card, or other acceptable forms of identification.

    Negative Tuberculosis Test:

    • Must provide documentation of a recent negative tuberculosis (TB) test result to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

    Background Screening:

    • Successful completion of a comprehensive background screening, which may include criminal record checks, employment history verification, and reference checks.

    Pre-Employment Drug Screening:

    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a drug-free workplace. A negative drug test result is required.

    • Must be able to qualify for Good Samaritan Shelter insurance coverage, which may include meeting specific criteria related to driving record, insurance claims history, and other factors.
