Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional/Teacher's Aide to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the lead teacher in providing a positive and nurturing learning environment for students with special needs. Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing curriculum and lesson plans
- Support students with autism or special needs in their educational and behavioral development
- Provide individualized attention and support to students during classroom activities
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Help students develop literacy and numeracy skills through various activities
- Assist with maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment
- Provide care for toddlers during transition periods or as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, teachers, and parents
- Familiarity with special education practices and techniques
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and provide appropriate support
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
