Teacher Elementary School prepares lesson plans and instructs students in an assigned elementary school. Develops and implements grade appropriate course work, activities, and assessments to meet the academic, developmental, and social needs of children in K-5 classroom setting. Being a Teacher Elementary School monitors and guides classroom behavior. Resolves classroom issues and conflicts. Additionally, Teacher Elementary School evaluates and monitors student's performance and progress. Participates in development and implementation of Individual Education Plans for specific students. May participate in implementing special programs for students. May supervise teaching assistants. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require state-specific teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. The Teacher Elementary School occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Enterprise Charter School is seeking Elementary Teacher for the 2024/2025 school year. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and have a NYS certification in Elementary Education.

- A demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools and communities
- Understanding of formative and summative assessments. Expertise in i-Ready preferred
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching
- Skills in analyzing and using data to make instructional and behavioral decisions
- Experience, knowledge and background related to NYS Next Gen Standards
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred
