Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District is seeking Physical Education Teachers to join our team in Fairfield, CA.

Job Duties:

• Provide instruction and guidance to students in a small group setting.
• Work with a team of 2-3 teachers to provide a full curriculum for students.
• Instruct students in a variety of activities based on program requirements.
• Maintain a classroom environment that is clean and orderly, safe for all students, and provides a safe learning environment for students.
• Maintain classroom supplies, equipment, and routines.
• Use the assessment tools provided to evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students.
• Communicate effectively with parents and students.
• Attend all required staff meetings.
• Complete required school work assignments.
• Other duties as assigned by the Principal or Regional Director.

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 12 Physical Education Units on College transcripts required.
• Previous experience working with children in a group or classroom setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a good communicator.
• Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,352.00 - $64,122.00 per year
