Edlin School is a K4-8th grade private school for gifted and talented children located in Reston, Virginia. We are looking for experienced, energetic teachers to join our school community for the 2023-2024 school year. Edlin offers small class sizes, intellectually curious students, and a strong, advanced curriculum.

Our classical curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. In addition, our students receive instruction in athletics, performing and visual arts, foreign languages, computers and STEAM. Our rigorous program is designed to prepare students for the challenges of high school and beyond. The faculty and staff encourage students to express themselves with confidence, clarity and critical acumen. The small student-to-faculty ratio at Edlin enables teachers to employ a variety of hands-on teaching methods and styles designed to help all students reach their potential.

A bachelor’s degree or higher is required and prior teaching experience is required. Successful candidates will have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be a team player and have excellent classroom management skills along with fun project based hands-on teaching experience. A minimum of 2 years experience required.

Teacher will be responsible for teaching Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science for lower school.

Job Type: Full-time
