Being a Teacher Vocational Education evaluates and monitors student's performance, and helps students identify and pursue personal goals. Assesses and documents students' progress. Additionally, Teacher Vocational Education typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a state-specific vocational teaching license. Typically requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Typically reports to a principal. The Teacher Vocational Education occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Summary
The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for creating a classroom environment that fosters, promotes and develops an understanding of the relationship of healthy body function and exercise; that motivates each student to cultivate physical fitness, and appropriate social and emotional adjustment; that discovers and develop talents of students in physical achievement; and that develops strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in individual, dual and team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each student’s ability. Exposure to heated/air conditioned and ventilated facilities with average interior dust with occasional exposure to outdoor elements.
In-person attendance necessary to provide an effective level of performance during regular school hours. There are some required commitments outside of regular school hours as needed, including evening and weekend commitments, as well as accompanying students on various experiential activities throughout the year.
