Education Station Learning Center is hiring for the position of Assistant Teacher at our Middleville location. Education Station provides quality education and childcare to children from Birth until 12 years old. Candidates who apply for this position need to be professional, reliable, courteous, kind, caring, and able to work as a team. Candidates Qualifications: Have a HS Diploma or GED; One year of experience in child care early childhood, or a related program(preferred). Be willing to go for a fingerprint background check and become CPR First Aid Certified if not already taken. Willing to take courses prior to the first day of work. Be a positive role model for both staff and children Be able to individualize for all children. Be dependable and have dependable transportation Be punctual, and have minimal absences. Be available for full-time employment between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Preferred Qualifications: Hold an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development or a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development. They must have 3 semester hours in infant/toddler development and care practices
