Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in education from a regionally accredited college or university or Associates Degree automotive technology or related field from a regionally accredited college or university and ten (10) years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, 3 of which must be within the last 5 years.
2. Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) Teaching License.
3. Knowledge of current Career Technical Education (CTE) teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiation of instruction based upon student learning styles.
4. Knowledge of assigned content facts, concepts, theories, and principles that are being taught, as well as industry standards that lead to licensure for careers or post-secondary professions
