Team Leader - Home Care jobs in Columbus, OH

Seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to join our fun and diverse team for immediate training. Job position includes supporting a 38 yr old male with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair. Personal care requirements cover activities of daily living, and engaging client in the Dublin and surrounding community. Working one on one and sometimes with another staff for 2 on 1 care, our team spends time assisting with activities such as swimming, cycling, bowling, horseback riding, playing games, attending concerts, dining out and vacationing.

Coverage needed includes shifts M-F from 2:30-9pm and weekends from 8:30am-3:00pm and 3:00pm-9:00pm with some overnight availability included. Looking to hire individuals to work 1-3 shifts per week with the opportunity for additional. Training will be provided by our current care team over a 2 week period. Position is in Bridge Park in Dublin.

Food is provided on shift. Flexible scheduling available.

Requirements:

• Compassionate, proactive, enjoy working with people, reliable.
• Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to communicate in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to transfer and reposition client who is 5’4” and about 115lbs. You will be trained to transfer him safely without the use of lifts as he is able to provide some weight bearing.
• Opportunities will be provided for First Aid/CPR certification and other basic care certifications.
• Must hold a valid Ohio driver’s license with proof of auto insurance.
