CARE TEAM MEMBERS NEEDED AT WILKS MAGIC VALLEY FUNERAL HOME in Twin Falls, ID

As a dedicated member of the Care Team with Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home, you will leave work each day knowing that you have made a difference in the lives of those you serve.

Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home is seeking RELIABLE, strong, able-bodied individuals to work “ON CALL” during evening hours M-F and full weekend shifts available.

Professional appearance and business suit required when in contact with families.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely drive company-owned professional vehicles to perform “first call” Transfer/removal of deceased in accordance with local and state laws as well as company policies and procedures.
• Follow processes for chain-of-custody, paperwork, and deceased identification.
• Cooperates with first responders, Coroner, hospital staff, or Senior Living facility and accommodates their processes and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• For home removals, courteously and professionally interacts with bereaved family members; exhibits environmental sensitivity; professional conversation. Follows company procedures in removing soiled garments, bedding, or other materials; leaves a warm, caring and courteous first impression.
• Enters deceased event information into proprietary software according to company procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education ~ High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licenses ~ Current state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Experience ~ No Experience needed. On-the-job training.

Abilities

• Ability to work a on call schedule primarily nights and/or Weekends and rotating holidays
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; push/pull up to 200 pounds
• Ability to respond in 20 minutes of "First Call" time.

Basic computer skills are required.
