    The LDAR Field Supervisor is primarily responsible for the following duties:

    • A Field Supervisor reports to the Site Supervisor (SS), the Project Coordinator (PC) or Regional Manager (RM) responsible for a specific site for Alliance Emissions Monitoring (AEM)
    • The Field Supervisor is responsible for providing each AEM Technician with a daily monitoring assignment, managing daily activities associated with on- going inspection and inventory assignments, and performing bi-monthly audits.
    • Must possess a good understanding of AEM's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Health & Safety Management System, and ensure fellow team members are consistently adhering to these procedures.
    • In addition, this position may be required to perform environmental Monitoring Technician duties for daily Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) component monitoring,
      inventory maintenance, and emission reduction repair activities at customer work sites required to comply with Local, State and Federal fugitive air emission regulations.
    • This position may be required to perform other monitoring and observation tasks associated with other environmental compliance requirements existing at the customer work sites.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    • 70% field work (M21 monitoring, BWON sampling, Cooling Tower sampling, data and field QAQC, etc.)
    • 30% office administration work (database, team timesheets, customer reports, and communications, etc.)
    • Able to lead a team of 3-4 techs and motivate them to get in the field at specified times
    • Perform all work in a safe and healthy manner. Ensure safe work practices are being maintained by those assigned to lead, and actively participate in AEM's Weekly Safety Meetings and report safety hazards, near misses and injuries per AEM and customer Health & Safety policies and procedures.
    • Download and upload daily work assignments and completions from project site's data management system and issue monitoring and inventory assignments to technicians.
    • Provide transportation of technicians and equipment to and from plant work locations, and provide field support to LDAR monitoring crew.
    • Provide Notification Reports (for 1- and 2-day leaks) as required by project site. Distribute Outstanding Leak Report to various persons throughout the plant per site-specific distribution requirements.
    • Where required, conduct 40 CFR Subpart QQQ visual inspections. Conduct 40 CFR Subpart NESHAP FF visual inspections along with El Paso Cooling Tower Monitoring.
    • Support the re-monitoring of components after leaks are repaired by maintenance personnel or when the test instrument fails calibration Drift Check.
    • Be open to job location changes, which could occur day by day

    Pay Range:

    Starting at $25/hour, based on experience. (relocation fee potential)

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum 1 - 3 years of LDAR monitoring program experience required.
    • Some experience in a mechanical work environment is preferred.
    • Must have valid driver's license.
    • Ability to withstand prolonged walking and standing and work on elevated surfaces.
    • Ability to be organized and work in a systematic and efficient manner.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal English.
    • Proficiency in various types of LDAR data management programs along with ability to use basic software programs like Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook email.
    • High level of knowledge and understanding of AEM's Standard Operating Procedures.
    • High level of knowledge and understanding of AEM's Health & Safety Management System.
