Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in various settings. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

- Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, including commercial refrigerators, freezers, and ice machines

- Perform routine maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems and make necessary repairs

- Test refrigeration systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning of all components

- Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with refrigerants and other hazardous materials

- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed

Qualifications:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

- Previous experience as a mechanic or in appliance repair is highly desirable

- Knowledge of air conditioning and HVAC/R systems is a plus

- Ability to work independently in the field service environment

- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals

- Experience with equipment repair, including welding, is preferred

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
