Technical Illustrator creates illustrations for use in technical manuals, product specifications, maintenance documents, advertisements, and other media. Utilizes a variety of graphic files, photo images, and sketches to create detailed technical illustrations. Being a Technical Illustrator produces 3-D, cutaway, or exploded views of objects. Familiar and proficient with graphic illustration and CAD software tools. Additionally, Technical Illustrator typically requires an associate degree in art, design, or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Technical Illustrator independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Overview:
In this role, the candidate will be performing chemical and physical analysis on medical products through all stages of the manufacturing process from incoming raw materials through to product release. Areas include raw materials, initial, in-process and finished products, Stability Program, protocol support, instrumental analysis and instrument calibration/qualifications.
