This role is part of Enterprise Program Management (EPM) where we provide technical standards, tools, processes, training and subject matter expertise for product engineering and manufacturing. EPM allows all Blue Origin business units to benefit from commonly used capabilities, hardware, and software and assists business units in identifying, selecting, and training engineers from both inside and outside the organization.
We are a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team looking for a detail-oriented PCB Librarian to administer our ECAD library. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a company-wide database of schematic symbol and footprint libraries to be used for all layout projects. Your contributions will directly impact all of Blue’s current and future space missions.

Responsibilities:
Create/maintain an ECAD library of schematic symbols, footprints, and 3D models.
Validate library parts for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and PCB vendors.
Provide user support of the tools and processes.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience creating/maintaining an ECAD library.
Basic understanding of PCB manufacturing processes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
Desired:
Experience with Cadence or Altium CAD software.
Experience creating/modifying 3D models (Creo preferred).
Knowledge and application of IPC PCB design standards.
Associates Degree in electronics field or equivalent work experience.
Experience using a PLM system, Windchill preferred.
Experience writing scripts to automate routine tasks associated with ECAD applications, databases, and libraries.
