Technical Librarian develops and maintains a collection of technical information and provides research and reference support to researchers, scientists, and engineers. Builds an extensive network of technical information resources and contacts from various sources like government agencies, universities, professional and industry associations to obtain the required information. Being a Technical Librarian communicates with researchers to develop and maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the organization's relevant topics and effectively target technical publications as information sources. Creates abstracts, bibliographies, and metadata to classify the information. Additionally, Technical Librarian obtains translations of literature as needed. Supports and maintains the library's technology infrastructure and information retrieval tools. Typically requires a master's degree in library science. Typically reports to a manager. The Technical Librarian work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Technical Librarian typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Alliance Technical Group is filling a Safety Support Coordinator position for the Lake Charles, LA area. This position is going to start off at $20 / hr but could be more DOE.

Responsibilities for the Safety Support Coordinator position is as follows :
Assign, schedule, track, and control records regarding safety related training to all
Alliance employees.
existing customer updates as they relate to safety.
Assist safety management team with periodic and annual review and revisions of all
safety policies and procedures.
discrepancies in the stated goals of the department (cultural, process, procedure, or
policy).
Ensure all Alliance team members have necessary access to all safety related
documentation and procedures.
Maintain safety required documentation and participate in external and internal audits.
Ensure adherence to Alliance safety policies and documentation.
Promote a positive safety culture for all team members.
