Technical Librarian jobs in Trenton, NJ
Technical Librarian develops and maintains a collection of technical information and provides research and reference support to researchers, scientists, and engineers. Builds an extensive network of technical information resources and contacts from various sources like government agencies, universities, professional and industry associations to obtain the required information. Being a Technical Librarian communicates with researchers to develop and maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the organization's relevant topics and effectively target technical publications as information sources. Creates abstracts, bibliographies, and metadata to classify the information. Additionally, Technical Librarian obtains translations of literature as needed. Supports and maintains the library's technology infrastructure and information retrieval tools. Typically requires a master's degree in library science. Typically reports to a manager. The Technical Librarian work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Technical Librarian typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Job Details
I am looking for mechanical engineering design support to package our electronics (2 PCBs) into a small satellite payload (100 x 100 x 100 mm). The effort would be four months long and can start as soon as a candidate is identified. I have attached a description of the skills. Please let me know if you have any candidates.
Mechanical Design Engineer to support of production and research and development of new design projects.
- Design, develop, fabricate, and test RF electronic enclosures and mounting apparatus.
- Responsible for interfacing with vendors to manufacture metal work, integrate and test assemblies to ensure they comply with environmental and client specification.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering degree plus at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong skills in SolidWorks and/or ProE/Creo/WindChill
- Experience with and ability to organize and manage Bill of Materials.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 environmental specifications.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Able and willing to generate reports and conduct presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
