This is a unique nursing opportunity for the right person. Make a difference in an aging adult's life! We are hiring a full-time Staff Nurse (RN) to join our home care team in our Verona office. Home Instead provides non-medical, in-home services to aging adults. Our mission is to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families. Our service areas are Augusta, Rockingham, and Rockbridge counties. Our Staff Nurse works from our Verona office. A company car and gas card are provided for home visits.
Our Staff Nurse:- Completes initial personal care assessments and develops a written plan of care with the client/family member
- Re-evaluates the client's care needs every 90 days and prepares progress notes on the client's personal care services
- Teaches classes in non-medical personal care services to our onboarding caregivers
- Participates in RN on-call rotation by being available to answer questions from caregivers and clients/families after 5:00 p.m. on weekends and on corresponding weekends
