Part Time Registered Nurse
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Conduct Orientation and training following agency guidelines.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide coordinated patient care
- Develop, Oversee and Initiate Plan of Care and any revisions needed
- Perform basic life support procedures in emergency situations
- Maintain compliance with the state regualtions affecting home care
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Conduct in-home supervisory visits in accordance with the agency guidelines and State licensing requirements.
-Maintaining confidentiality of all information pertaining to Clients and Employees.
- Resolve client complaints or concerns.
- Instruction of caregivers assisting the client with personal care needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Maryland/ Registered with MBON
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience preferred
- Work Independently with minimum supervision while being able to complete work within specific deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices within the Home Health Care Industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively with the ability to remain flexible
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required as well as CPR
- Present a well-groomed professional image to represent our business
