Technical Recruiter attracts, evaluates, and refers candidates for technical positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, search firms and other sourcing methods. Understands requirements for technical positions, develops job advertisements and screens resumes/applications. Being a Technical Recruiter contacts candidates to ascertain fit, and schedules interviews. Extends offers and negotiates compensation. Additionally, Technical Recruiter initiates onboarding plan for new hires. Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Technical Recruiter occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. *Our client has retained our services to hire a full-time Recruiter in Pendleton, IN. This position has the flexibility for a hybrid schedule once established onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting and marketing
• Experience in transportation or logistics
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically working with Excel.
• Strong proven and demonstrated communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use of good judgment.
• Interest in a long-term career opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Work closely with leadership to determine manpower needs
• Advertise for, locate, and screen new employees as needed for various work centers.
• Manage the onboarding of new employees in person and remotely, delivering a new employee fully ready to work to the manager
• Manage various business projects from transportation to data recording and analysis.
• Develop effective operations to drive efficiency.
• Counsel, train and develop teammates to allow for improved recruitment and retention
• Resolve issues in an efficient and timely manner to obtain the optimum results possible
• Understand quality control and how it ultimately effects our business longevity
• Work closely with ownership in strategic planning and forecasting for tactical execution of operational objectives.
• Align the direction of the company to meet company goals and objectives.
