Our roots trace back to 1896, when the Brethren in Christ Church founded Messiah Home in Harrisburg, PA to serve older adults with Christ-like love.

Working in tandem with the Talent Acquisition Manager, you would provide a positive experience for both our candidates seeking meaningful employment and team leaders within our organization. This position works during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm). This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with our team leaders and support them by identifying team needs,
• Drive all full cycle recruitment efforts (sourcing, reviewing applicants, interviewing, checking references, and presenting offers)
• Attend career fairs and other career focused interests events as needed
• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders through all stages of the recruitment process
• Partner with the Onboarding Coordinator to ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding and orientation
• Leveraging social media platforms to build upon our community branding
• Maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
• Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify any opportunities for improvement to recruitment and hiring practices
• Assist with other recruitment - related administrative tasks as needed

What Else You Should Know

• A minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience in a high volume recruitment setting; experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of human resources Information Systems (HRIS), applicant tracking systems (Paycom experience preferred), and other similar software tools
• A willingness new systems and practices to grow their professional development
• Demonstrates high emotional intelligence
• Working knowledge of Google Suite preferred
• Manages time efficiently to prioritize tasks and successfully completes tasks
