Technical Recruiter attracts, evaluates, and refers candidates for technical positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, search firms and other sourcing methods. Understands requirements for technical positions, develops job advertisements and screens resumes/applications. Being a Technical Recruiter contacts candidates to ascertain fit, and schedules interviews. Extends offers and negotiates compensation. Additionally, Technical Recruiter initiates onboarding plan for new hires. Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Technical Recruiter occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.   • GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE:

    The Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the
    Dole Fresh Vegetable departments and to deliver well-matched and high talent employees.


    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

    • Implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
    • Implement and follow DFV’s established full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals.
    • Create and implement strategies to attract passive job seekers.
    • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
    • Implement DFV’s established interview processes and ensure hiring managers and interview teams are leveraging best-practice behavioral and situational questions to uncover evidence of skills, fit, track record, and motivators – all required to predict success.
    • Review and evaluate candidate’s work history, education, training and other qualifications.
    • Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, business leaders and HR.
    • Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
    • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
    • Regular follow up communication with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
    • Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.
    • Assist with the development and maintenance of career opportunities section various job boards.
    • Adheres to all federal, state and local regulations governing the employment process; keeps applicant files in good order for applicant tracking purposes.
    • Develop and execute a personal time management plan.
    • Other HR related duties, including implementation of employee-related events, as assigned.



    Required Skills

    JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

    • 3 years of Staffing/Recruitment experience, strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of organization from entry level to corporate staff.
    • Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills.
    • Clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes.
    • Must have experience on mapping and sourcing resumes from all sources.
    • Strong vendor manager skills related to recruitment activities such as search firms and job boards
    • Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office and in-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of human resources policies, practices and programs with the ability to communicate them to candidates and hiring managers.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift (including overhead) and/or up to 15 lbs.

    WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to work beyond regular business hours, weekends, as needed.
    • Ability to travel to other DFV facilities as needed.



    Required Experience


    EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

    • BA/BS degree preferred.

    PAY RATE:

    • $80,000 - $86,000 Annually
