Technical Recruiter attracts, evaluates, and refers candidates for technical positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, search firms and other sourcing methods. Understands requirements for technical positions, develops job advertisements and screens resumes/applications. Being a Technical Recruiter contacts candidates to ascertain fit, and schedules interviews. Extends offers and negotiates compensation. Additionally, Technical Recruiter initiates onboarding plan for new hires. Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Technical Recruiter occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Recruiter will work internally to research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
Additionally, the Recruiter will work externally with our client companies on their staffing needs and support them as a service provider in placing permanent candidates. In both cases, the focus area is finance, accounting and operations. The Recruiter will have the opportunity to build this service function from the ground up in conjunction with the CEO and Director of Marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
● Collaborates with department managers and human resources to identify and draft detailed and accurate
job descriptions and hiring criteria.
● Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available
role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
● Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/media outlets/colleges, etc.
● Screens resumes and/or applications and selects qualified candidates for interviews.
● Collaborates with the hiring manager to prepare interview questions and other hiring and selection
criteria.
● Schedules and conducts initial interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to
filter candidates within schedule.
● Assists with the final interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors,
and other stakeholders.
● Collaborates with the hiring manager and human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and
recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
● Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company
policies.
● Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
● Constantly cultivates a warm network of potential candidates for either internal or external placement.
● Establishes relationships with client management teams as a reliable resource, and works with our
internal client service teams in defining the ideal candidate for an external role given the existing
software, systems, personalities

Education/Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
● Proven work experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process
● Prior participation in hiring and HR practices as described in the duties and responsibilities
● Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems
(CMS)
