Technical Recruiter jobs in Springfield, MO

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruiter to join our HR team. The Recruiter will play a key role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of successfully recruiting in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate in-person interviews with hiring managers.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
• Manage the offer process, including negotiating salary and benefits packages.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires and ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate data and track recruitment metrics.
• Assist with other HR-related tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with hiring managers and team members.
• Solid understanding of recruitment strategies and techniques.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and applicant tracking systems.
• SHRM or other HR certifications are a plus.
