Acuity is seeking a Technical Support Analyst Intern to install PC systems and peripherals, load and verify operation of software such as operating systems, word processors, and spreadsheets. The intern will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and user problems and makes minor repairs. Interns will be expected to provide end user training and technical assistance to users.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION:
Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Associate Degree program with an emphasis in Computer Science or MIS with a high degree of achievement. Previous related experience also considered.
EXPERIENCE:
Exposure and/or experience in computer software and hardware installation, Windows OS, and troubleshooting skills preferred. Network technical training or equivalent and experience in network communications desirable.
