The Analyst – IT Restaurant Systems position is responsible for:

• Supporting, implementing, and maintaining the Company's technology infrastructure related to Point of Sale, back-office, and related systems.
• Responsible for maintenance of the POS platform and for ensuring the platform is up-to-date and current.
• Responsible for updating POS & Back-of-house software for changes with pricing, recipes, store information, third party integrations, etc.
• Identify and ensure continuous improvement activities for processes to reduce risk of failure and a poor guest experience. Ensure that root cause analysis is performed for any repetitive system failures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that development and delivery schedules meet timelines.
• Provide support to store staff regarding client devices, including tablets and store computers.
• Liaison with third-party service providers, including Point of Sale (POS), video surveillance, telephone, and internet vendors; Assist in the maintenance, operations, and training of POS system.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware problems; coordinate and/or perform break / fix; install approved / authorized software.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining local server, cloud-based server platforms, local or remote store-based computers or other third-party platforms, develop and / or maintain documentation on infrastructure implementation, servers & networks as set forth by the Cyber Security and Network Manager.
• Provide on-site IT support at Slim Chickens HQ and local restaurants. Ensure appropriate network and desktop support for remote store locations is in place; Remotely troubleshoot technology solutions.
• Ensure all physical / virtual desktop workstations or laptops for corporate stores and support center are properly configured and secured.

Requirements and Competencies:

• Degree in MIS or other technology major or an equivalent amount of training and experience
• Relevant experience maintaining the technology infrastructure for a Company within our industry.
• Proven ability to identify business needs and select/install appropriate technology solutions.
• Broad technology knowledge
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Proven skills to provide good internal customer service.
• Proven ability to collaborate with a team solving unique business problems with technology.

Technical Experience:

• Experience in technology role supporting business and guest facing applications.
• Appropriate technical knowledge of network equipment, laptop computers, operating systems, mobile devices, POS, and back-office application to support execution of business objectives.
• Awareness of third-party platform integrations in the restaurant and support center environments
• Functional technical knowledge of POS hardware and software
• Functional technical knowledge of cloud-based software – POS and online ordering preferred
• Functional technical knowledge of A/V equipment supporting restaurant’s menu and LTO boards.

Industry Experience:

• 3 years in food and beverage industry, management experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge of POS & back-office restaurant solution systems preferred.

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or equivalent experience

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in information system technology

Travel: Travels (up to 25%) to and from multiple restaurants or worksites possibly requiring overnight stays
