Summary: Responsible for specialized bank settings within the Deposit System of our core software. Works with a variety of departments to ensure capabilities of the core are used to improve internal efficiencies, as well as ensure system specs and procedures are reflecting organizational wants for client experience. Will work closely with core vendor to make sure there is a clear understanding of the variety of technical aspects within the Deposit System of our core.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Core knowledge source

• Maintain a high level of Deposit System core competency.
• Stay up to date on core enhancements and make suggestions when we should take advantage of updates.
• Assist Technical Solutions' project managers with documenting core enhancement requests.
• Maintain a strong working partnership with core vendor to ensure we are doing our part to document requests and test enhancements.
• Provide technical core guidance to assist with projects and implementation of procedural changes, as well as be overall Deposit System technical support.
• Administer mass file maintenance throughout the Deposit System.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly tasks within the Deposit System core.
• Serve as CenterDoc administrator and system support.
• Assist with Data Governance initiatives.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and utilize core system access in an ethical manner.

Analysis/Improve Efficiencies

• Serve as a report/data expert to help end users understand data sources and utilize information.
• Perform research, complete independent analysis, and interpret data to create summaries that lead to recommendations, assisting with strategic decisions and operational improvements.
• Become proficient in core reporting software in order to:
  • introduce more sophisticated tracking and error detection
  • improve operational efficiencies
  • provide a variety of departments auditor/examiner information
• Gain functional expertise in order to assist in streamline/redirect operational efforts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Have extensive experience with Deposit System core features in order to serve as core liaison for a variety of tasks and projects.
• Have a strong understanding of banking operations including interest rate calculations, earning credit rate calculation, etc.
• Able to independently research, test, and translate software features to non-technical associates to ensure system is operating as bank has intended.
• Strong PC application skills with knowledge and competence in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas for large data sets.
• Willingness to learn new things, ask questions and clarify information.
• Ability to perform moderately complex to complex assignments and handle diversified duties and coordination of related activities.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attentive to detail and accuracy and strong follow-through.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks for multiple areas in the organization.
• Ability to work with supervisor to prioritize tasks based on upcoming deadlines.
• Capability to work well independently and with others in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 years work experience in bank operations or technical production environment preferred
• Analysis, project management, and/or system administrator experience preferred.

**Department hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 CST
