Technical Support Manager manages technical service-related operations for an organization. Oversees the work of engineering, IT or maintenance staff to ensure that all jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to customer specifications. Being a Technical Support Manager ensures that physical inventory levels are monitored and replenished as needed. Responsible for designing and implementing improved process or operational policies. Responsibilities:
* Acts as a focal point for official communications with customers.
* Administers contracts at a Senior level "cradle to grave".
* Prepares contracts and researches the legality of various agreements.
* Remain abreast of current FAR, DFAR, Export Control and various other government regulations and practices and communicate any changes as appropriate.
* Resolves performance and other contract administration issues with the customers.
* Responsible for export licensing
* Responsible for all aspects of contract negotiating.
* Specific knowledge: Contract negotiations, Communication, Computer skills to include MS Office products, Leadership, Time management to include working with deadlines.
* Business understanding: Must be analytical, detail oriented, able to multi-task, manage and deal with ambiguity and have good business acumen.
Experience:
* 7 years of Contract and/or Procurement in a DOD environment
* Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Academic background:
* JD, CPCM or equivalent; BA/BS as a minimum
