Job Description:

These positions are contingent upon the award of a SOCOM contract. Work is expected to begin in early 2024.

The Data Technical Support (DTS) Team will be based on a hub and spoke concept of operations with analysts permanently positioned or on Temporary Duty (TDY) status at the USSOCOM HQ, TSOC, Component Commands, Special Operations Joint Task Forces (SOJTF), Combined Joint Special Operations Task Forces (CJSOTF), Special Operations Task Forces (SOTF), and Special Operations Command Forward Elements (SOCFWD).

The team will be comprised of Data Integrators, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, System Architects, and Front-End Developers.

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

The DTS contractors/analysts will provide support to leadership during recurring planning events, customer requirement discussions, and capability development in line with their respective positional technical requirements. DTS contractors will operate and conduct analysis on SOFNET-U, SOFNET-S, JIANT, SOIS, SOCRATES, NSAnet, and in some cases on the commercial internet.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

The DTS contractor will require and possess advanced analytical knowledge of data and be capable of conducting big data analysis; performing data conditioning; programming advanced computing; developing algorithms, software, and AI/ML models; executing advanced analytics; and utilizing visualization tools to take advantage of the growing volume of available information. 

This team exists to support the analysts in asking the correct questions of the data and is built to create an entity that consolidates the competencies of computer science, advanced mathematics, and knowledge of the SOF Intelligence Enterprise to the fingertips of the SOF Intelligence Analysts.

• Data Scientist: (Tampa, FL, Hurlburt Field, FL)
• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Proficient with one or more programming languages (Java, C , Python, R, ).
• Demonstrated experience applying data science methods to real-world data problems.
• Data Engineer: (Tampa, FL)
• Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a computer science discipline or equivalent
• Six years' experience providing services similar in required tasks, scope, and complexity
• DevSecOps Engineer (Tampa, FL)
• Required experience with Python, Terraform, Containers (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes)
• Data Analyst: (Tampa, FL, Colorado Springs, CO, Hurlburt Field, FL, Virginia Beach, VA, Homestead, FL, Jacksonville, NC, Fayetteville, NC, Korea, Germany)
• Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a computer science discipline or equivalent
• Data Integrator: (Tampa, FL, Colorado Springs, CO, Hawaii, Hurlburt Field, FL, Virginia Beach, VA, Homestead, FL, Jacksonville, NC, Fayetteville, NC, Korea, Germany)
• Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a computer science discipline, or equivalent., or Eight years' experience providing services similar in required tasks, scope, and complexity
• Six years' experience in the Special Operations intelligence community, providing services similar in required tasks, scope, and complexity
• DevSecOps Engineer: (Tampa, FL)
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science/Engineering, or related field
• In lieu of formal degree, minimum of five years of related experience  
• Product Owner: (Tampa, FL)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5 years’ experience as a product owner  
• Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) (Tampa, FL)
• Master's Degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related math discipline; OR a Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering with 4 years of experience in Operations Research and Analysis in military related matters or subjects  
• Front-End Developer (Software Engineer) (Tampa, FL, Germany, Hawaii)
• Seven years’ experience with modern Web technology
• Four years of experience with web application development using JavaScript frameworks, HTML, C5S, and similar web programming technologies.
• Experience with Restful APls, relational databases, and cross browser compatibility troubleshooting techniques.
• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

• Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI is required
