The Technical Manager role assumes the pivotal position of technical leadership within our cutting-edge facility located in Fairfield, California. Entrusted with upholding compliance with federal and state regulations concerning food safety, the incumbent plays a crucial role in driving technical compliances and process enhancements in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position is a fully benefited, exempt, and reports to the Vice President of Sciences.
Main Responsibilities:
o Manage the technical project portfolio and function as the point contact for all technical matters.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rectify process deviations.
o Define technical priorities and ensure execution.
o Collaborate with QA team in policy development.
o Implement company compliance policies effectively and develop plant compliance procedures.
o Perform compliance audits and collaborate with cross functional team for improvement.
o Review ingredients and conduct QC check for approval.
o Supervise the QC function, test products in production, and approve products for release.
o Perform root cause analysis on nonconforming materials for resolution.
