Job Description
The Custom Training Representative position is responsible for assessing and evaluating educational and training needs to meet the need for a skilled workforce through employee and organizational development. The position will provide assessment, consulting, course/program development, coordination and evaluation services to business/industry clientele and students. This position will work in liaison with local, state, and federal agencies, business and industry associations and non-profit organizations in providing the education and training services to the client organizations and marketing these services to potential and existing clients. CTR will market and evaluate these services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in training and development sufficient to meet the educational needs of public/private organizations.
- Knowledge of business operations sufficient to assess and determine client needs.
- Experience in budgeting sufficient to develop and manage annual budget goals.
- Experience in market concepts sufficient to analyze markets, develop and execute strategies.
- Communication skills sufficient to assess client needs and maintain excellent client relations.
- Sufficient organizational and planning skills to assess client needs, develop strategies and execute plan in a timely manner.
- Negotiation and proposal development skills sufficient to develop mutually beneficial product and service mix.
- Communication skills sufficient for working with clients, staff, and consultant network.
- Sufficient knowledge of government regulation to identify, address and adhere to regulations. Experience in project management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Master’s Degree.
- Preferred experience in a training and development, business administration, sales or human resource management.
