Technical Support Supervisor leads a team that provides technical customer support for an organization's products and services. Acts as first level escalation point for more complex or critical customer issues and inquiries. Being a Technical Support Supervisor possesses broad knowledge of the organization's products and services, and extensive experience handling customer inquiries. Mentors and coaches team on troubleshooting, solution development, and customer communication best practices. Additionally, Technical Support Supervisor monitors work queues to ensure adequate coverage and to meet service level standards. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Technical Support Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Technical Support Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Primary Responsibilities
    • Manage the Technical Support and Installations & Training teams (4 people).
    • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of the teams’ processes and projects.
    • Effectively train and manage employees, providing coaching and encouragement to empower the team and elevate the customer experience.
    • Oversee and organize employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and equal work distribution.
    • Assist with calls and escalated issues as needed to support the team, resolving complaints and issues with tact and care.
    • Communicate openly and effectively with leadership and other departments.
    • Monitor and review calls and case notes for quality assurance and improvement.
    • Collect data and prepare reports.
    • Develop, implement, and document processes and procedures.
    • Helping customers as needed to assist when the team is busy
    • Assisting with hardware issues/replacements as needed.
    Hours and Benefits
    • Full-time, 40 hours per week
    • Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm
    • Saturday rotation every 3 weeks: 9am-3pm
    • Compensation: up to $35/hour
    • Full benefits package included
    Requirements/Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
    • 2 years of IT help desk/customer service experience is required.
    • 1 years of management experience is required.
    • Training and onboarding experience strongly preferred.
    • Experience with ERP or CRM software is required, NetSuite experience a plus.
    • Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented fashion.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Superior customer service skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
