We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inspector and machinist to join our team. As an Inspector/machinist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all internal anomalies in the pipe ID are ground and the wall thickness is still within the acceptable tolerance. Your role will involve griding pipe ID surface, conducting inspections, analyzing data, and providing feedback to the client manager. You will also be responsible for the tools, air compressor, grinding machine.
```Duties```
- Perform pipe ID grinding and quality inspections pipe samples to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Track pipe samples traceability and maintain inventory sheet of samples reworked.
- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for corrective actions
- Follow safety rules of plant. Use personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate and co-ordinate with plant quality manager.
- Document inspection findings, including photographs and written reports
- Conduct final inspections prior to project completion to ensure all work meets quality standards
