    Infrastructure Technical Lead
    Summary
    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead to oversee the move of our Kyndryl Disaster Recovery (DR) Colocation site. The Technical Lead will be responsible for orchestrating all aspects of the project, from requirement gathering and vendor selection to execution and site tear down. This role requires a strong background in infrastructure technology, disaster recovery fundamentals, vendor management, and project coordination across multiple teams.
    Responsibilities

    • RFP & Vendor Selection:
      • Lead the requirement gathering process;
      • Evaluate options for mainframe solutions (DRaaS, subscribe, CBU, or third-party purchase);
      • Determine implementation strategies (swing gear, phased, big bang).
    • Exit/Migration Solutioning & Planning:
      • Develop comprehensive migration plans;
      • Coordinate the establishment of core network infrastructure and mainframe systems;
      • Oversee the set-up of storage subsystems and other computing resources (AIX, X86).
    • Migration & Relocation Execution:
      • Manage the execution of network installation and testing;
      • Coordinate moves and shipments of new equipment;
      • Oversee the installation process and ensure successful cutovers;
      • Validate the functionality of all systems post-migration.
    • Kyndryl Site Tear Down:
      • Coordinate the termination of circuits and elimination of remaining hardware.

    Requirements

    • Strong background in infrastructure technology.
    • In-depth knowledge of disaster recovery fundamentals.
    • Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
    • Exceptional project coordination skills, capable of working across multiple teams.
    • Excellent communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels effectively.
