Scope and Responsibilities:
The Technical Trainer is an integral member of the sales and marketing department. This employee’s role is to recruit and retain clients by building relationships founded upon core technical competence. This will normally be accomplished via training classes held in the Bard training facility, or in a facility provided by the customer requesting technical education. Additionally, this person is also expected to be present at national industry-related functions. The Technical Trainer will create the instructional materials, coordinate the classes, orchestrate video training and internet training, and implement a C.E.U certification program at Bard Manufacturing. This person must maintain the required departmental paperwork, and stay current with all products, parts sales, pricing, and policies. In off times or down times, this person may be required to assist with duties in the technical services department.
