Position: Sr. Technical Project Manager

Location: Jacksonville, FL- must sit onsite 1-2 days/week

Duration : 6-12 months

Rate Range?: $70-$75/hr

Position Overview:
Aligned to the Enterprise Program space within IT Governance, the candidate will provide Senior Project Manager support for a Digital Transformation initiative. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with technical directors, program teams, senior managers, outside vendors/consultants, and respective functional leads impacted by this initiative.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

• Plan, coordinate, and track the project activities for initiatives of supported customer groups in compliance with PMO standards.
• Manage small, medium, and large projects. Assist in planning and organizing resources from across all Technology areas along with the Business to achieve Project objectives. Establish procedures and processes for project activities.
• Create, monitor, and maintain projects in project management software including managing project plan tasking, assignments and testing coordination.
• Assist with guiding the team through all phases of the project life cycle. Coordinate the activities of the project team with other departments, business partners, and vendors.
• Responsibilities include budget compliance, maintaining risk/issues list and priorities, and conducting regular statsupport meetings with stakeholders.

MUST Haves:

• 10 years of experience as Technical Project Manager - supporting cloud migration projects working with technical teams (architects, engineers, developers etc.)
• Understanding of large backend components, cloud migrations - moving from on prem to cloud
• Vendor management experience
• Enterprise level experience - comfortable working with c-suite executives; Strong documentation and presentation skills (MS Project, MS Office Suite)
• PMP Certification Bachelor's Degree

NICE TO HAVES:
- Mainframe experience
- Unikix platform
- Understanding of sox and auditing
- Budget management and financial tracking experience
- Airline/Transportation industry experience
