Job Summary:
The Manager of Technology Training leads informatics training and curriculum design for all business and clinical applications and advanced enterprise projects no matter the discipline.
The Manager directly oversees the learning experiences for Epic training as well as all other required technologies including but not limited to: 3M, Fluency, Amwell (telemedicine), Perceptive, MUSE, Kronos, Lawson, HCC, CDI, Nobl, PRPE, CarePricer, SaFer, BCA, and Experian.
Working in partnership with the Onboarding, Talent Acquisition, IT, EPMO, and stakeholders across the enterprise, the Manager develops educational project plans to implement new software applications and support protocols for all technologies within the enterprise. The Manager additionally collaborates with vendor partners to coordinate technology training efforts and go-live. The Manager leads the Epic training team who creates robust learning experiences for every Wellstar team member, contractor, and volunteer who uses Epic.
The Manager is responsible for strategically developing and establishing measurable training goals, objectives, and education plans to support applications and technology initiatives.
The Manager is responsible for the project management of all aspects of education project execution with attention to the development and oversight of educational team resources including the management of staff assigned to resources but will not be limited to only this function.
Furthermore, the Manager is accountable for the delivery of education projects on time and within scope/budget and assist in problem solving and issue resolution. This role interacts daily with other support shared service teams and system wide leaders to deliver project results.
This role requires comfortability working with all levels in the organization and 5 years of adult learning related roles. Additionally, it requires a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role with related scope. This role will be instrumental in creating high-visibility programs and enhancing the overall experience and effectiveness of learning initiatives at Wellstar Health System
