Technical Training Manager leads the design and delivery of technical training programs. Determines training objectives by conducting analysis of overall needs and specific skill or knowledge gaps. Being a Technical Training Manager manages the development of training programs and materials including outlines, text, handouts, hands on exercises, and training evaluations. Establishes processes to monitor results and collect feedback on training instructors to determine effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Technical Training Manager assesses and manages any contractors utilized to deliver specialized training. May manage IT, product, or equipment training depending on the industry and setting. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an director. The Technical Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Technical Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Construction Manager opportunity in Eunice, NM at Urenco USA (UUSA) National Enrichment Facility.

    Work Location: On-Site at Urenco
    Per diem is available for those who qualify.

    UUSA, operated by Louisiana Energy Services LLC, is the only commercial enrichment facility operating in the US, and is located in Eunice, New Mexico.

    Duties:
    • Responsible for managing all construction activities.
    • Interface and obtain alignment between the production managers and key stakeholders to effectively implement the construction schedule.
    • Coordinate, track and validate schedule adherence for construction.
    • Responsible for implementing construction schedule by leading and coordinating large project teams across multiple organizations
    • Maintain effective short- and long-range schedule compliance
    • Effectively communicate organizational support needs (Engineering assistance, QC assistance, etc.) for maintaining compliance with construction schedule.
    • Ensure compliance with all necessary procedural requirements to support construction IAW all safety requirements, design requirements, schedule expectations, cost estimates and quality requirements
    • Interface with regulatory and government agencies / offices.
    • Includes other duties and responsibilities as directed.

    Qualifications:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree from a four year accredited college or university in Engineering field of study. 10 years of relevant experience in a field construction leadership role may be substituted for a Bachelor degree.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years related experience in construction management.
    • Knowledgeable in the generation and application of project management principles, concepts and techniques including contract generation and implementation.
    • Knowledgeable of construction principles and problem-solving techniques.
    • Knowledgeable of long-range project scheduling.
    • Knowledgeable of vendor contract requirements and capable of validating and enforcing contract and cost compliance.
    • Ability to provide prioritization, direction and mentoring for team lead / member to solve a variety of problems.
    • Ability to coordinate and effectively communicate established priorities across multiple groups (vendor) assigned activities.
    • Ability to determine, communicate and obtain assistance for challenges to completing assigned activities per the schedule
    • US Citizenship is required.
