Technical Training Manager leads the design and delivery of technical training programs. Determines training objectives by conducting analysis of overall needs and specific skill or knowledge gaps. Being a Technical Training Manager manages the development of training programs and materials including outlines, text, handouts, hands on exercises, and training evaluations. Establishes processes to monitor results and collect feedback on training instructors to determine effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Technical Training Manager assesses and manages any contractors utilized to deliver specialized training. May manage IT, product, or equipment training depending on the industry and setting. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an director. The Technical Training Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Technical Training Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Summary:

    Responsible for a variety of functions related to residential living programs, which includes a safe and homelike atmosphere, dormitory management and maintenance, dorm culture, student safety and security, dorm culture and peer court systems in compliance with government and management directives.

    Essential Functions:

    • Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of the department.
    • Hire, train, and coach staff within the department.
    • Establish, implement and supervise control procedures to maximize student living standard, coordinate student participation.
    • Inspect dormitories for quality standards, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any facility issues.
    • Coordinate and control group living conditions, evaluate situations and conditions within the dormitories and make decisions or recommendations.
    • Manage student dorm leadership

    It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • Associate degree
    • Two (2) years of related experience working with youth
    • Two (2) years of supervisor experience.
    • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
