Technical Training Manager leads the design and delivery of technical training programs. Determines training objectives by conducting analysis of overall needs and specific skill or knowledge gaps. Being a Technical Training Manager manages the development of training programs and materials including outlines, text, handouts, hands on exercises, and training evaluations. Establishes processes to monitor results and collect feedback on training instructors to determine effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Technical Training Manager assesses and manages any contractors utilized to deliver specialized training. May manage IT, product, or equipment training depending on the industry and setting. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an director. Military Fixed-Wing / TACAIR Training Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Currently we are hiring a Military Fixed-Wing / TACAIR Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Orlando, FL. This position will play an integral role in the development of F-35 Lightning II training and simulation.
Responsibilities:
· Leverage current tactical experience to support the development of common and service-unique
pilot training for the F-35 aircraft
· Analyze F-35 aircraft and weapons systems to determine pilot training requirements
· Provide expertise on pilot training techniques, philosophy and evaluation
· Validate and verify aircraft tactics techniques and procedures
· Report tasks planned and accomplished
· Research technical documents in support of deliverables
Requirements:
· 7 years of military tactical aviation experience (EA-18G, F-35, F-22, F-15C/E, F-16, F/A-18
preferred)
· EW experience
· Operational squadron training instructor experience desired (Training Officer, SME, etc.)
· Weapons school graduate / instructor a plus
· Current military Training and Readiness program experience / knowledge
· Engineering background or education
· US Citizen
· US Government Clearance required
The Military Fixed-Wing / TACAR Pilot SME position is regular, full-time with competitive pay commensurate to skills and experience. The position includes benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability and 401(k) plan with employer match.
Salary range: $150K to $170K
