Job Description
We are building the complete ecosystem for the residential solar energy system. The product line includes inverters, batteries, and energy management systems. The technical writer is responsible for creating, writing, and editing technical documentation such as user manuals, installation guides, technical specifications, training materials, and other technical content.
A successful candidate must be able to:
Writes and edits technical documents, including reference manuals and product manuals.
Writes and edits procedural documentation such as user guides and manuals.
Meets with engineers, programmers, and project managers to learn about specific products or processes.
Assesses the audience needs for whom the technical and procedural documentation is intended; adjusts tone and technical terms used to meet those needs and to ensure understanding.
Plans writing processes and sets timelines and deadlines.
Creates or works with graphic designers to create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding a product or process.
Gathers feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers to improve technical documents.

Strong Writing Skills: Excellent writing skills, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling, to produce clear and concise technical documents.
Technical Aptitude: A solid understanding of technology and technical concepts to convey information to users and customers accurately.
Communication Skills: Be able to communicate effectively with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and customers to gather information and clarify technical concepts.
Attention to Detail: A strong eye for detail to ensure that technical documentation is accurate, complete, and consistent.
Project Management Skills: Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
College degree with experience or Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Proficient in using various tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and authoring tools.
